Welcome to the 2024 LCC Holiday Gift Guide! The holiday season is upon us and, if you’re like us, you still need to buy gifts for the loved ones in your lives. In the spirit of Small Business Saturday, we wanted to highlight some of our favourite Edmonton-based small businesses and help kickstart your holiday shopping. This year, we’re not only sharing businesses we’ve worked with, but other local businesses we truly appreciate.
1. Gifts For Your Cool Friend

The perfect gift for anyone who values style and comfort! Unbelts are designed to fit every body. The Branded Good(s)
Created by LCC, The Branded Good is all about printing quality designs on well-made garments for charitable causes. We’ve collaborated with Albertan charities to develop custom collections in support of their cause. Check out our Edmonton Collection supporting YESS, and our 4Jasper collection, supporting the Jasper wildfire relief efforts. We have recently just launched our collaboration collection for Niginan Housing Ventures - an indigenous-led charity serving individuals with complex medical and social needs. 100% of the net profits of The Branded Good collections are donated to the collaborating charity.
The Cosmodemonic Telegraph Co.
Cheeky, funky, and distinctly Albertan! The Cosmodemonic Telegraph Co. is a local company that designs t-shirts, hats, and stickers that are both well-designed and really funny. We can attest that their t-shirts are printed on high-quality, comfy garments that you’ll want to wear again and again.
2. Gifts For the Bevvy Lover
THE Colombian
As designers, we are about 80% coffee, so this is our ideal gift. The Colombian is one of our favourite local coffee shops and they roast all their beans in house. There is no shortage of blends at The Colombian, so you can be sure you’ll find something for the coffee lover in your life. They also have a monthly subscription service that is the perfect gift to keep someone caffeinated well into the New Year!
Wallbanger Distillery
It’s winter but Wallbanger Distillery keeps the summer vibes going all year round! Based in Pigeon Lake, Wallbanger has a range of spirits perfect for festive cocktails. We recommend gifting one of their funkier offerings, like the Razzle-Dazzle Raspberry Vodka or the Tanger-Banger Lemon Gin. They’ve also got some pretty cool shirts that we’ve had a hand in designing too!
Acquired Taste Tea
Last year we had the pleasure of designing a custom tea advent calendar for Acquired Taste Tea and we’re delighted that they brought it back for a second year in a row! Each calendar contains 24 unique tea blends that can be enjoyed by a tea aficionado or casual drinker alike. Of course, if you know a tea drinker with specific tastes, visit their downtown Edmonton store to browse their wide selection of loose-leaf & packaged teas and tea accessories.
3. Gifts For Self Care
Buff Wax Spot
Edmonton’s original wax bar! Buff Wax Spot has a carefully crafted environment of inclusivity, specializing in full-body waxing for every body. BIPOC and woman owned, Buff Wax is committed to maintaining a welcoming environment for all. We worked with them this year to design some very cute holiday gift cards that would make for the perfect stocking stuffer! They also have an in-house line of all natural products for body care, Buff Experts.
Libertine Fragrance
Is there someone in your life who has always wanted to smell like a prairie field on a sunny, late August afternoon? Or maybe they want to smell like they’ve been cozied up by a fire in a fir forest on a chilly evening? Libertine Fragrance makes beautiful, dramatic scents that tell a unique story. Their fragrances have a delightful specificity that make for an incredible thoughtful gift. Our favourite scents are Eros Fig and Burrow.
Mousy Browns
Give the gift of many, many good hair days! Mousy Browns is located in Old Strathcona and they truly are experts in hair. Their stylists are always keeping up with the latest in hair trends and techniques to make sure you’re always happy when you leave the salon. They carry high quality hair products like Davines. The gift of luxury hair care products and a gift card is the best gift for someone who deserves a little bit of self-care.
4. Gifts For the Foodie
Chef Vinh Tran
Chef Vinh Tran offers both In-Home and Omakase Room dining experiences that are unique and, most importantly, delicious. A luxury dining experience is the perfect gift for someone who values experiences over possessions. We had the pleasure of working on Chef Vinh Tran’s branding and we are certified fans of his work!
Pals
One of our favourite restaurants in Edmonton! This year, you can give your pals the gift of Pals. The dream gift combo: A Pals gift card with a pack of their beer collab with Sea Change Brewing. After all, who doesn’t want a hot sandwich and poutine on a winter evening?
Annie Rue
We firmly believe that ice cream is a year-round treat. Annie Rue offers a wide range of flavours, with several rotating seasonal offerings. All their ice creams are handmade with love. They are also long-time clients of LCC. We worked with them on their original branding, packaging, and interior brand experience and have worked with them to build out new branding materials as their business has grown. An Annie Rue gift card or children’s token makes the perfect stocking stuffer for that sweet tooth in your life!!
